IPTV on a Samsung or LG Smart TV, step by step

Install IBO Player Pro

Open your TV's app store (on Samsung, the Apps section; on LG, the LG Content Store), search for IBO Player Pro and install it. The steps are the same on both brands once the app is open.

Connect your Lexonstream IPTV playlist

1. Open IBO Player Pro. A screen shows a QR code, a MAC address and a device key.
2. Scan the QR code with your phone. A web page opens on the phone.
3. Enter the MAC address and the device key exactly as they appear on your TV. They identify your TV, so the playlist lands on the right screen.
4. Tap "Login".
5. Choose "Add XC Playlist". XC stands for Xtream Codes.
6. Enter the Xtream codes from your Lexonstream IPTV message (server URL, username and password), then tap Submit.
7. Go back to the TV and select "Continue".

The channel list should now load on your TV. If you don't see any content, close the app completely and open it again; that's usually all it takes.

IPTV on Roku

On Roku, IBO Player Pro is in the Roku Channel Store. Search for it, add it, then open it: the same QR code, MAC address and device key screen appears, and the rest is identical to the Smart TV steps above. Scan, log in, Add XC Playlist, enter your codes, Submit, then Continue on the TV.

When the picture isn't smooth

Most issues on a Smart TV or Roku come from the network:

• Use Ethernet if your TV has a port. A cable is more stable than Wi-Fi.
• Check your speed. HD and 4K need at least 25 Mbps; standard definition needs at least 10 Mbps.
• Drop from 4K to HD on the same channel if the picture stutters. Our 4K guide explains the trade-off.
• Count your devices. Each plan allows 1 to 4 devices watching at the same time. If the TV stops when someone starts watching on a tablet, you need one more connection; see connections explained.

A few slips account for most failed first logins:

• Typing the MAC address or device key from memory. Read them off the TV screen as you type; one wrong character sends the playlist nowhere.
• Using "Add Playlist" with Xtream codes. Xtream details belong in "Add XC Playlist".
• Spaces copied with the password. Paste or type the codes without leading or trailing spaces.
